The 6th Annual Beaverton last Tuesday series- an Outdoor Celebration of great music, art and food - has concluded for the 2009 season. It was a well attended, memorable season, to say the least. Who will ever forget the record breaking heat from the July event, especially when compared with the unseasonably cool August wrap up!
Beaverton Arts Commission would like to thank all the performers; musicians Aaron Meyer, Michael Allen Harrison, Julianne Johnson and the Bobby Torres Ensemble, the great dancing performed by; In Motion dance, Rene Nuñez and Lori Hajarizadeh and Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca, and local artists exhibiting their work; Christopher Bibby, Sharon Bobbe and Kathy Scopacasa, Mari Budnick, Roberta Cohen, Catalina Cooper, Laura Hopper, Robert Johnson, Carli Schultz Kruse, Denny Lumsden, Dick and Jane Millager, Denice McDonald and Becky Pardo-Jarvis.
Beaverton Last Tuesday is presented by the Beaverton Arts Commission and sponsored by the City of Beaverton, Regional Arts and Cultural Council and our Community Newspapers. We thank them for their sponsorship, as well as the community support through their attendance at Beaverton Last Tuesday. We look forward to celebrating season 7 in 2010!
The Round Fountain Plaza, 12600 SW Crescent St., is located adjacent to the Beaverton Central light rail station. Parking for the event is available at The Round and in the former Westgate Theatre parking lot accessible from Cedar Hills Blvd.
