Fifth Annual Beaverton Last Tuesday Series – an Outdoor Celebration of great music, art and food – kicks off June 24th in the Public Plaza at The Round, 12600 SW Crescent St. There is no admission charge.
Local artists will have their artwork displayed throughout the plaza offering work in a variety of media including jewelry, collaged marble titles, woven baskets, oils, acrylics, digital photography and watercolors. The following artists will participate in June: Becky Jarvis, Denny Lumsden, Sarah Meyers, Robert Johnson, Laura Hopper, Sharon Bobbe, Kathy Scopacasa and Ron Kiino.
Local restaurants including Typhoon!, Mio Sushi, and Mingos will offer indoor and outdoor dining and refreshment experiences for Beaverton Last Tuesday audiences making the entire evening a truly wonderful celebration of great music, art and food.
June 24 The Swingline Cubs will start the event off in full swing with their music of the 40s, 50s and 60s. Special guests the Stumptown Hoppers will perform swing dancing throughout the evening. This troupe of young, energetic jitterbugs will definitely get the audience into the swing of things.

July 29 Michael Allen Harrison will be performing with his trio. His cutting edge, classical contemporary style carves a distinct niche of timeless music which far exceeds the scales of his Steinway keyboard. Opening for Michael will be piano artist, Linda Smith. Whether performing music to make your spirit dance, classical stylings that bring peace and healing, or music to create an elegant and romantic ambiance, Linda’s music is designed to enhance a beautiful summer evening.

August 26 A favorite in local Latin and jazz scenes, Bobby Torres brings his ensemble of keyboard, bass, percussion and drums to Beaverton’s final Last Tuesday of the season. The world-class ensemble performs Latin Jazz, Salsa, Samba and Rhythms.

The Round Fountain Plaza, 12600 SW Crescent St., is located adjacent to the Beaverton Central light rail station. Parking for the event is available at The Round and in the former Westgate Theatre parking lot accessible from Cedar Hills Blvd.
